China and us and more

In the global scheme of things India is to China a threat only because we have so many people and may very soon outnumber the Chinese who anyway are a nation that has almost lost its virility and fecundity! But someone calculated that India will never be a threat to China because if the whole Chinese nation is ordered to get on to the Great Wall of China, face south and take a good piss it will cause the worst kind of floods India has ever faced!! Its as simple as that!

Today's Times of India reports that a Strategic Think Tank in China has gone on record on how the Chinese can carve up the Indian Nation into multiple warring nations!! Its not as if the intelligence agencies in this country and our armed forces are not aware of this, I guess its all cloak and dagger stuff with India perhaps fomenting trouble in the Chinese north among the Uighurs, who is to know?!

But with the Chinese taking aim at us in India it would make massive sense for us to make Mandarin a compulsory language in our schools. It will make much more sense than learning French and German and su
ch other languages that have lost their relevance in an increasingly 'yellow-race' 'ruled' world.

The long weekend is upon us and so is the A(H1N1) virus - its causing lots of cancellations of travel plans of lots of people all over the country. What will these folks do for the long one? I guess it will be a stay home weekend - I hope the TV channels are geared for some easily available TRP ratings - of course, for that they'll need to come up with interesting fare! Would hate to be stuck in a one-TV home at such times!!

The good wife thinks we should be going some place by road - maybe it is to avoid the air-conditioned trains and planes that seem to inoculate passengers with the A(H1N1) virus with uncanny efficiency! So Bangalore it may be for this weekend. I hope I can catch up with some old friends in those parts if we do get to go.
